We need a leader who knows what to do and has the courage to do it.
Kelley is that leader. He will deliver conservative reforms in Atlanta
to make government more limited and efficient.
Over his career, Kelley Gary has helped found and develop several small businesses. Today, among his business interests, he is the owner of Premier Storage in Braselton. Gary was formerly a consultant for Marsh and McClennan, a professional services company providing insight and solutions in risk, strategy and human resources.
A respected community leader, Kelley has a long track record of standing up against bad governments. He led the petition effort to fight the efforts of the Hoschton City Council to institute a property tax on city homeowners, collecting over 400 signatures to stop the tax increase. When they say you can't fight city hall, you can, Kelley did, and he won. Kelley is also a member of the Jackson County Republican Party and the President of the Village at Hoschton Homeowners Association.
A 5th generation Jackson Countian, Kelley Gary is a product of Georgia Public Schools and the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. He also earned a Masters in Economics.
Kelley is married to the former Lora Porter of Jefferson, a public school teacher. The Gary’s are active members of New Community Church in Hoschton.
Why Kelley Gary?
Kelley knows that high taxes are stifling job growth in Georgia, and he will do something about it. We have some of the highest corporate income taxes in the world, our state and local tax burden is higher than in any neighboring state, and property taxes are out of control. Kelley's focus as state senator will be to reduce income taxes, provide property tax relief to people who are being taxed out of their homes, and get our economy moving again.
As a small business owner, Kelley has seen firsthand how government all too often works against us instead of for us. Like so many of us, Kelley understands that politicians on every level of government are out of touch with the people that elect them. It’s time for leadership in Atlanta. We need new leaders with the
willingness and courage to stand up and tell our politicians to stop the
spin and get the job done. That’s why we need a courageous, new leader
like Kelley Gary.
Kelley is running because we need someone who can effectively fight for common sense conservative reform in Atlanta.
